Frequently Asked Dental
Questions – Derry, NH
Is changing my toothbrush every three months necessary?
Yes, you should plan to change out your toothbrush every three to four months. The reason is that bacteria can accumulate over time. Even if you haven’t been sick during this timeframe, you do not want to continue to use a brush that harbors harmful germs and particles that can negatively impact your smile, or a brush with bent bristles.
How long will my cosmetic dentistry results last?
Are bleeding gums a problem?
Yes, you should never disregard bleeding gums. This is often an early sign of gum disease known as gingivitis. By catching the problem early on, we can minimize the potential for bacteria to spread and cause further issues. However, if left untreated, you will be at risk for developing a level of periodontal disease that can no longer be improved.
Will you accept my dental insurance?
We are pleased to file and submit claims to all dental insurance companies. It is our goal to help you avoid high out-of-pocket costs, so we will do our best to maximize your benefits and help you get the most out of your plan.
